NUDELL ARCHITECTS was established in 1976 as a full service Architectural Firm.  With planning, design, and construction administration services for all aspects of our work, NUDELL ARCHITECTS has assembled a group of professionals dedicated to the success of our clients. We have completed many projects in our 45 year history encompassing a wide market section both nationally and internationally that includes Retail, Automotive, Financial, Restaurant / Hospitality, Interior, Manufacturing, Mixed Use, and Office Design.

 

The foundation of NUDELL ARCHITECTS, in 1976, was dealership design for the automotive industry. As car dealership architects, NUDELL ARCHITECTS has provided Brand Roll-out Programs and Prototypical Dealership Designs for Ford, Lincoln Mercury, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai. We also have extensive experience in stand alone dealership design for all vehicle brands in the market today with projects completed worldwide.

 

In the mid 90's, NUDELL ARCHITECTS was responsible for creating and implementing designs that took the Ford Brand Image from its cars into its showrooms. Not only did NUDELL ARCHITECTS design the look of each dealership facility to expertly reflect each brand, they also created the program guidelines on how to implement the new changes for hundreds of dealerships around the world. These programs were called The Ford International Facility Design Guide and the Lincoln-Mercury Signature Dealership Design Process Program. Extensive research went into creating the design criteria which contributed to breakthrough and positive effects on customer satisfaction. Although the prototype design of the buildings have changed and will continue to change, just like the styles of the cars, "Branded Design Facility Guides" are now a staple for most car manufacturers around the world.

Additional areas of focus for NUDELL ARCHITECTS are Retail Design and Restaurant Design. We provide architecture and design services for projects that include Individual Store Design (free standing or in-line), Regional Shopping Center Design (strip centers, neighborhood, power center and mixed use) and Regional Mall Design Renovations and Expansions. Restaurant, hospitality and food service projects we have completed include food courts, kiosks, airport concessions, country club houses, and banquet halls for both private and municipal sectors.

 

Creating a customer friendly and unique experience for the customer is our goal when it comes to designing retail environments. Our firm has the business knowledge and design expertise to create the environments that best represent the brand and lure in the customer. For four decades, NUDELL ARCHITECTS has successfully created innovative retail spaces to help maximize store profit, showcase the brand identity and most importantly, keep the customer coming back for more.

 

Nudell Architects currently has 2 architecture offices, 1 in Michigan and 1 in Florida. We are licensed in 49 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We provide design work internationally throughout Canada, Europe, Asia, Mexico, and South America.

NUDELL ARCHITECTS are long time members of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and have been a US Green Building Council Member for many years.  We are also an ENERGY STAR PARTNER with the US Environmental Protection Agency.  Most of our staff currently have various memberships, including but not limited to: AIA, NCARB, ICSC, Michigan Masonry Institute, USGBC, CoreNET, and the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). We also have a team of LEED Accredited Professionals.
